Rental Conditions

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD

At Cool Wheels Olhão, the minimum rental period is one day.

Unlike other rental companies that require a minimum of three days or even a week, we offer you more flexibility. If you wish to extend your rental, you must inform us at least 24 hours in advance to ensure vehicle availability.

MINIMUM AGE

The minimum age required to rent a vehicle at Cool Wheels Olhão is 23 years old.

However, we accept young drivers under 23, with an additional charge of €100 per rental to cover insurance costs.

Unlike other rental companies that generally refuse younger drivers, we provide you with a tailored solution.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

To rent a vehicle from Cool Wheels Olhão, you must present the following documents:

• A valid passport or identity card.
• A credit card with an expiration date covering the entire rental period.
• A valid driver’s license held for more than one year.

These documents are essential to ensure compliance and security for your rental.

At Cool Wheels Olhão, our prices include:

• The deductible, for worry-free rentals.
• Unlimited mileage for rentals longer than one day.
• VAT, with no hidden fees.

With Cool Wheels Olhão, there are no hidden costs—you rent with complete peace of mind.

BOOKING

All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure vehicle availability.

PAYMENT

A deposit of 50% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid when collecting the vehicle. We accept payments in cash, by Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Multibanco, and via Revolut.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

We reserve the right to request a security deposit at any time during the rental. The amount varies depending on the type of vehicle rented (car, mobility scooter, eBike). For cars, the deposit is set at €800. Two options are available to cover this deposit:

• e-Caution: a simple and secure solution that does not block any amount on your bank account. To learn more, click here.
• Credit card deposit: an imprint is taken on your card to cover the deposit.

These solutions allow for a quick and easy rental process.

INSURANCE

The included insurance covers vehicle theft and theft of vehicle parts. However, an €800 deductible applies.

TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY

Any travel outside the country with the rental vehicle must be pre-approved. This option is available for an additional €50 per rental.

EXTRAS

Extras are available to customize your rental, such as an additional driver, baby seat, and more.
